Fr. Robert Nixon, OSB, is a monk of the Abbey of the Holy Trinity, New Norcia, Western Australia. Before entering religious life, his musical activities included composing and performing in a wide variety of genres ranging from classical to experimental to gothic. As a composer, he draws particular inspiration from poetry, especially the works of Byron, Poe, Baudelaire and H.P. Lovecraft.
